Program Overview



Interactive digital multimedia involves a range of technologies and applications centered on the creation, encoding, transmission, storage, presentation, and analysis of multimedia data, as well as the study of human interaction with multimedia systems.


We sucessfully completed this IGERT in January 2010. This website is no longer being updated; it is kept for archival purposes only.

Research, Projects, Publications, etc.


Digital media's interdiscplinary nature allows for more than just scientific publications. Our program has generated more than 149 publications, presentations, performances, and exhibitions related to IGERT student research.
